The Gardener

Delete your account and garden data

You can delete your The Gardener account and the cloud data connected to it whenever you choose.

Delete from the app

Open The Gardener, go to the Garden tab, scroll to Your account, and choose Delete account. Confirm the permanent deletion, then choose whether to keep or remove the garden copy stored on that device.

If you keep the device copy, it remains local and is not part of the deleted cloud account. You can remove it later from the device or by choosing the delete-local option during account deletion.

Can’t access the app?

Email support@withamedia.com from the email address associated with your The Gardener account. Include “account deletion request” in the subject. We’ll verify the request and help complete deletion of the account and its cloud data.

What is deleted

Account deletion removes the Supabase Auth account and the cloud records owned by that account, including:

  • gardens and sections
  • plantings
  • watering events and soil observations
  • reminders and notification preferences
  • other account-owned cloud records connected to the account

About device-local data

The Gardener is local-first. During in-app deletion, you can keep the garden copy stored on your device. That local copy is separate from the deleted cloud account. Choosing to delete the device copy, clearing the app’s local data, or removing the app removes that local copy from the device installation.

Privacy and contact

We use account information to provide authentication and account-connected garden features. For privacy questions, deletion requests, or help verifying a request, contact support@withamedia.com.
